During 26th and 28th October 2010, the Gulf University of Science and Technology in Kuwait hosted Nuqat design conference, organized by the Nuqat foundation. This year, the event's main focus was the concept of visual pollution.

Nuqat, firstly known as “Nuqat Ala Al Huroof”, started off with one objective in mind and that is “to develop arab creativity on all levels” be it in design, advertising, architecture, fashion, production, and all the multi-creative fields.

This year’s list of events was extensive. It included lecture series, workshop, an exhibition, Screening and Performances by many established individuals, including Tarek Atrissi, Mehdi Saeedi and Rana Salam
