Arabic Handwritten is a typeface that imitates the casual handwriting in Arabic. The font was crafted to look like authentic hand scribble, when used in small sizes but also when printed on very large billboards. The font was designed to look like an authentic Sharpie-like stroke written by hand, responding to the market demand of typesetting digitally a font that looks like a fast handwritten note. The font is ideal for usage in retail context as well as for corporate usage- but is applicable to be used for any graphics or advertising material requiring handwritten Arabic typography. Upon the release of the Arabic-Handwritten typeface in 2013, it became very popular and was immediately licensed by various organisations to be used as part of the branding and advertising material. The Qatar 2022 FIFA world cup committee was one of these organisations, using the Arabic-Handwritten typeface in their marketing collaterals.

For creative applications supporting the use of Arabic language and Open Type Features, such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop – Middle East versions.

The font is available in three weights, Light, Regular and Bold. It is a typeface supporting the Latin and Arabic script and is ideal for bilingual communication such as Arabic-English or Arabic-French.

خط العربي المكتوب هو خط طباعي عربي تم تصميمه ليكون مشابه لخط اليد المكتوب بسرعة، ويمكن استعماله في أحجام صغيرة وكبيرة. وقد تم تصميم الخط بناءً على عدم وجود خطوط عديدة مماثلة مصممة بشكل عفوي لتعكس خط اليد. الخط مناسب للاستعمال في الهويات البصرية أو في الإعلانات والملصقات وأية مطبوعات تحتاج الى تايبوغرافي مكتوبة بخط اليد. تم اعتماد الخط بشكل مكثف من عدة شركات ومؤسسات، من بينها اللجنة العليا لتنظيم كأس العالم الفيفا في قطر والتي استعملت الخط العربي المكتوب في جميع موادها التسويقية المطبوعة والرقمية.

الفونت مُبرمج للاستعمال في برامج التصميم التي تدعم اللغة العربية، كبرامج ادوبي السترايتر وادوبي فوتوشوب وانديزاين في نسختها العربية.

الخط متوفر في ثلالثة أوزان: لايت، عادي وبولد. ويتضمن الخط جميع الحروف العربية واللاتينية. مما يجعله مناسبا للإستعمال في التصاميم المزدوجة اللغة، مثلا في اللغتين العربية والانكليزية او اللغتين العربية والفرنسية.
